Why a Referendum? Aren’t we part of GradGov Already?
GradGov and the SCS Administration agreed to provide graduate students in SCS full participation in GradGov for Fall 2021 on a probationary basis. However, GradGov felt strongly that a permanent decision should be made by the SCS Students through a referendum.
GradGov wants full representation from all schools and graduate programs across Georgetown. Full participation includes an $18.00 semester student activities fee that will be charged to students. All other Georgetown Schools in GradGov pay this fee. Fees are appropriated to promote SCS and GradGov activities, groups and organizations for on-campus and online students. This fee may be waived at the discretion of GradGov. SCS Student Referendum Action:
